Apart from being a good title for the first post on this blog, "hello world" is the first thing I heard when I called up to book my flights! (Its the slogan for travelocity.co.uk in case you're wondering!).
The flights are as follows:
Depart from Heathrow on the 18th Oct
Arrive in Hong Kong on the 19th
Depart from Hong Kong on the 23rd
Arrive in Sydney on the evening of the 23rd!
I was offered a free stopover in Hong Kong when I called up and, even though I knew nothing about Hong Kong at the time, thought I might as well go for it!
At the time of writing this I leave in six days and I still need to sort out a ridiculous amount of stuff (including a place to stay when I arrive in Sydney!!). Oh well, I'll probably get it all sorted by the time I arrive at the airport.....
Anyway, seeing some of the world has always been a dream for me and I can't wait to get going! Hope you enjoy reading, leave lots of comments :)
