After making plans to go see some Australia day events, we woke up late and decided to go to the beach instead! After 30 mins we got a call from a couple of Danish girls who were at the hostel with us in Manly. Apparently they were in Melbourne so we went to meet them!
Did a lot of drinking on the beach with the girls and their friends then went to someones house for a BBQ. As the night rolled on we went back to the house of one of the girls friends and did lots more drinking! Met some cool Ozzies and talked a load of rubbish til we all fell asleep, was a good day/night.
Unfortunately that meant that, when I awoke this morning, I was in a random part of Melbourne with no clue how to get to the city, let alone the car (which was parked in a village, the name of which I dont even know!). It took me about 3 hours to finally locate the car so all is good and the hangover is passing....what will tonight bring!
