As I mentioned in an earlier post, I'm gonna make New Zealand after all. Only problem is that I don't have any money at all! So, after the outback, the plan was to go back to Sydney and get stuck into some full time work to save up the bucks.
Managed to find somewhere to live quite easily but the job has been a bit of a headache! After searching for ages I managed to get a cash-in-hand job delivering the white pages (Australia's version of the yellow pages) with a strange French guy called Erik. It basically involved running down the road after a truck moving at about 5km/h pulling a stack of books (that weigh about 2kg each!) off the back of the truck and chucking them into people's gardens. It is by far the hardest job I've ever had to do....and probably the worst paid :( Anyway, the main problem was that every time there was a spot of rain, we had to stop, and I was only getting paid by the number of books delivered. After the third day of rain and no work I decided to look for something else.
I've now got a job working for an exhibition company, building exhibition stands at various places round the city. I've done stands for a 'Fine Foods' exhibition, a climate change show (at The Hilton) and a wine tasting stand. Next week I'll be involved in setting up the motor show at Darling Harbour which should involve lots of fast cars and models!
On the 12th October I'll be going to New Zealand with Sara and (if I've made enough money) we'll rent a camper van to tour NZ for a month! Can't wait!

Happy Birthday chief.
Enjoy New Zealand. Given Spurs' form, you're better off on the other side of the world.
Thanks mate!
Yes, Spurs are terrible so far this season...I think they are missing me! So who's winning fantasyleague so far?
Si
Ummm... that would be me! Not sure how. No Spurs players was a good start. Here's the League Table
