Amsterdam!

Amsterdam, one of the most liberal places in Europe, also ranks as one of the nicest places I've been to. We arrived at about 7pm on a beautiful evening to see the sun shimmering on the canals as little boats whizzed around on their business.

After locating the hostel we dumped our bags and headed out to find some food with a group of Americans we'd met on the train. After having some great Italian food we wandered around the city seeing street performers, coffe shops and lots of half naked girls in windows! The evening was spent chilling out with a few beers, a welcome bit of relaxation after the last ten days of partying!

The next day we did a walking tour and found out about prostitutes, drugs and....buildings. That evening Josh and Ben from Krakow arrived so we did the decent thing and celebrated with a few beers! The next day Paul headed off to Cologne and me Josh and Ben wandered around trying to see the sights. Unfortunately the Heiniken experience was closed but we visited the FOAM museum (about art made from light) and the sex museum, which contained (amongst other things) 14th century porn! I spent the next day chilling out in the park with the Americans (Keegan, Erica and Katura) and wandering round the city. I'm not quite sure how but that lot somehow seemed to take up the four days I was there for! Now I'm in Belgium, in the lovely city of Brussels.
