I met up with a couple of my Italian friends, Simone and Federica, in Airlie beach, I'm going up the coast and they're going down. On the day we were all leaving we drove out to a place called Cedar Falls. The place is amazing, you walk about 200m into the forest and theres a huge waterfall running into a nice deep water-hole, perfect for swimming. It was like something out of a movie!
Spent the afternoon swimming around there, jumping off the rocks and being nibbled at by small fish! You could even swim out under the fall for a nice cold shower :) After that we said our goodbyes and I started the drive to Townsville, where I'd meet the Swedes for Magnetic Island.
